Hi, I’m Sany.

My background sits somewhere between fashion, media, communications and management. I’ve spent more than a decade working in gaming and esports, across brands, events, communities and everything in between.

At some point, I stopped being interested in keeping all of those things in separate boxes.

So now I make things.

Content. Brands. Digital projects. Writing. Occasionally physical things, too.

I tend to end up somewhere around technology, internet culture, gaming, design, work and the strange systems we’ve collectively decided are normal.

MochiSany is where I put all of that.

I also started The Human Layer on Substack — for the things that need more than a caption.

Then there’s stackdlayer — the agency / space I’m building around strategy, social and brand work, offering services, knowledge and eventually my own products and software. It basically grew out of years of looking at things and going:“Wtf is this bllsht even trying to sell me?” and “How tf do they think I’m actually paying for this?”
At some point, I figured I could either keep complaining or use that energy to build something better. So I’m building. Whether it’s actually better remains to be seen. I’m trying, though.

And then there’s suay.atelier, because apparently I wasn’t satisfied with just having opinions about design.
It’s where my Thai heritage, German pragmatism, love for aesthetics and years of Korean, Chinese and Japanese cultural influences meet the digital × analog thing I keep coming back to. I’m turning some of that into physical things.

There are a few more things in the works, too. They’re just not fully public yet.
